The Victoria area of London is not particularly conducive for a stroll, but one spot well with visiting, is the taking of afternoon tea at The Goring which became known as ‘Boring Goring’, but it has its secrets and serves a fine afternoon tea.

Once you have settled your party to finger sandwiches, Earl Grey tea etc make your way to The Gents.

No, not to relieve yourself but to indulge yourself, do not be surprised to see huffing prelates and crusty majors flushed and rampant, just let yourself go.

This is because there is a very fine selection of vintage prints above the porcelain pews.

The finest, I think, is this depicting staff being interviewed  for The Goring…

… sweetly cupping their proffered breasts for approval! As the inscription says….Its always difficult to choose staff.
