I have already covered the use of barrels in CP before in a previous post. The image below is from a ‘Nu-West’ film ‘Over the barrel’ concerning a group of female prison inmates being whipped across their bottoms bent and secured over a barrel:

Of course someone can also be suspended from ropes attached to a ceiling pulley as the French fetish photographer Red Charls’ photographs below demonstrate either the right way up or even upside down!

Another ‘Elite Spanking’ film demonstrating a back whipping with the woman suspended from the ceiling by her arms:

A Herric (Cheri Herouard) drawing from the novel ‘Cinglants Châtiments’, showing two naked young ladies bound tightly together and hanging from the ceiling having their bottoms soundly whipped by two rather enthusiastic women in a state of semi-nudity. I’d love to know what the story was about behind this scene. Alas, whilst the images seem to survive, the text does not.
