I have just been sorting some photos out, making space on my hard drive which only had about 20gb left.

I came across this lovely photo I had saved of Ingrid Pitt, who used to work in the Hammer Horror Films, alongside Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing etc

I went to see a film where she played a lesbian vampire, and became interested in her.

I have always collected stuff, and film and t.v. memorabilia used to be a favourite. I went to a collectors fair in my home town, and saw a fabulous picture of her and purchased it. It is on my study wall even now, just to my left. What happened next is quite amazing! Really, it is!!!!

I turned around and within five or six steps, saw this beautiful woman before me, very classy and well dressed. It was her!

Never being bashful around women, I plucked up courage and said something like…..”Excuse me, I suppose you get this all the time, and I don’t want to spoil your day out! But you are Ingrid Pitt aren’t you?’

I forget her response, but it was on the lines of….”I am not going to bite your neck before you ask.” I remember her chuckling.

I said….”No, it’s okay, but I have just purchased a photo of you with Peter Cushing. Would you sign it? I’ll make it worth our while and buy you a cup of tea and a piece of cake.”

I never thought she would, but she chuckled again and said “Yes, okay, come on then.”

She had a very posh silver wide nib pen, and signed it. Then we sat eating cake, drinking tea, and talking of Vampires, Christopher Lee, and Peter Cushing.

….::sigh::

I wish she had said….”You look like Asa Jones, the spanking man, I don’t suppose you have time to….”

In my dreams eh?
