Do you like to see girls smoking in a photo?

I know it is frowned upon these days, but you have to remember that at the time of these vintage photos, it was cool, sophisticated, common, and just a thing people did. Other than a smokers cough and a gruff voice, it didn’t seem so bad!

Most of the photos are from the Biederer/Ostra Studios as you will notice by the photographer marks, but not all. (I have covered photo identitification markings in the Ostra part of my site.)
