Mrs.Pollard dragged Shona into the corner and told the girls to leave, which they did, shouting abuse and mocking the poor sobbing bully.
The girls left. Mrs.Pollard gave Shona a dire warning. “Now go you horrid girl, and if you ever bully again I will thrash you naked, over the horse, with the cane, before the whole school! NOW GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!”
