Another film company, ‘Rigid East/Lupus’, employed a less comfortable wooden punishment horse more akin to a wooden stool. It was primarily used in the ‘Headmaster’s Study’ films, as in the three sets of images below:
‘Firmhand Spanking’ once did a series called ‘A Definitive Guide to Corporal Punishment’, starring Amelia Rutherford and China Hamilton as Dr. Zeigler. In one of the episodes, an elaborate antique prison ‘caning frame’ was used. It looks a bit like two dining room chairs back to back with an attachment to hold the ‘victim’ in place around his/her waist and ankles. A totally naked Amelia, Dr.Zeigler’s willing assistant, demonstrates how it would be used for caning a prison inmate.
A similar style device was used in an ATP (Assume the Position) production called ‘A Victorian figging and birching’:

The lateral thigh straps in the ATP movie look great. Sort of position enforcement rather than outright bondage. Slow progress with my pillory, should I continue with it?
I loved the early “Headmaster” series from Rigid East Lupus. Edgy and with a story line too! nothing like I had seen up till then. I was not so keen as they seemed to morph into Mood Pictures where at times the CP verges on assault.
